Cigar & Bourbon Events is an online ticket sale website, dedicated to provide one-of-a-kind experience at the finest cigar and bourbon events around the country.
This platform is designed to be your go-to source for discovering and purchasing tickets to some of the most exclusive cigar and bourbon events, from tastings and pairings to festivals and seminars. With a user-friendly interface and a vast selection of events, it aims to make visitor’s journey into the world of premium cigars and bourbons more accessible than ever before.
The client approached us for a solution to develop a ticketing platform which has various features related to posting of events by organizers or to buy tickets for visitors favorite events.
Some key requirements for this websites were:
- Organizer can post their events in the frontend
- Import of existing events from popular events website like Eventbrite etc.
- A user dashboard where they can book tickets and see their purchased tickets as well
- Integration of various payment methods
- Event submission and posting automation
- Fix of various errors and bugs in website
The existing solution, used for event management was not providing enough functionalities that client demanded. So, after having extensive research and analysis about the problem, we suggested an alternative approach to implement this. The client approved that and it made us fulfill the requirements.
After initial setup of the event management plugin for WordPress, we customized it to achieve desired results. It involved modifying the plugin files using HTML, PHP, CSS and JS. Currently the client is modifying the website on her own and thus some initial customization from us may be changed.
